At Scholars in Training Preschool, LLC we believe that children learn best through play and direct interactions with their environment. We strive to provide our students with a well-balanced amount of teacher-directed and student-directed activities. The students are encouraged to work independently, as well as in small and large groups.

To help your child learn and grow we have adopted Frog Street Pre-K 2020 Curriculum! It is a comprehensive preschool curriculum that is aligned to not only our values, but also the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. The curriculum is arranged into 9 thematic units that integrate literacy, math, science, social students, social-emotional connections, STEAM, technology, assessment, and family engagement. Frog Street is designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting ten learning domains. It includes a research-based scope and sequence for math, literacy and content domains, and Conscious Discipline strategies to assist students in building a strong social-emotional foundation for solving conflicts and managing emotions.

Scholars in Training Preschool, LLC also believes in helping children become well-rounded individuals that will become good citizens. Part of our daily schedule focuses on social development skills and coping techniques.

Scholars in Training Preschool, LLC recognizes that children need to be active and learn healthy habits. We have built additional time for physical fitness into our daily routine. Every morning the students will participate in an exercise such as yoga, dance or Pilates.
